read the story of Thomas and the disibles carefully. When Jesus appeared to the disibles, did they bleive that he is their God and yet can not beleive he’s alive.Same for Thomas, did he realy doubt Jesus the God came from death, what kind of disibles were they, what kind of God is Jesus.
no, Jesus is a man as stated in the Acts by Peter.Thomas called Jesus “my godly Lord”? is only exclamation!

i think it was more …
i think it was more of an expression than anything, like when you find something out for the first time, you say MY god! u know in that manner, not a literal sense, and thomas wasn’t there when Jesus(pbuh) ate broiled fish and honeycomb with them, and he didn’t believe what the others had told him, so when he saw Jesus(pbuh) he was surprised, so it is open to dispute, but that’s just my opinion, peace be upon you

    Thomas called Jesus …
Thomas called Jesus “my godly Lord”? Huh? I can read the greek and this is a totally distorted translation. The original greek literally states that Thomas called Jesus, “The Lord of me and the God of me”. The genitive is used in both kurios and theos with the definite article and used to describe who Jesus is to Thomas- His Lord and God. If he wanted to say “my godly Lord” the greek would have been totally different.

    My point was my …
My point was my muslim bro is that he never directly stated it, not that he didn’t infer it, of course he did! The muslim above states that there is no one place where Jesus claimed to be God, well actually in John 8:58 he definitely did infer it, much more than the inference that you gave that Jesus claimed to be a prophet. Peace my muslim bro.

    EMOPIECEKID”Jesus …
EMOPIECEKID”Jesus never directly said I am a Prophet” Mark 6-1.”Jesus left that place and went back to his home town, followed by his descip…and so they rejected him.”6-4.”JESUS SAID TO THEM-A PROPHET IS RESPECTED EVERYWHERE EXEPT IN HIS OWN TOWN…John4-34.Jesus said to them”My food is to OBEY THE WILL OF THE ONE WHO SENT ME and too finish work he gave me to do.”… If you need any more let me know please. but i think he ask for food according to bible … am i right??

  17. pmiller1967

    Badawi’s arguments …
Badawi’s arguments are faulty. When he doesn’t like what the Bible clearly says he simply says it didn’t really mean what it says, or that it can be translated another way. A way, of course, that fits & justifies his theology.

At the end of John ch. 8, for example. Badawi would have us believe that the “I Am” Jesus uttered wasn’t the same as the “I Am” In Ex. 3. But the moment he said that the Jews tried to stone him. Same thing happened at the end of Jn. 10, & they confirmed why there.

    can you proof it?

102] O you who believe! Fear Allâh (by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared. (Obey Him, be thankful to Him, and remember Him always), and die not except in a state of Islâm (as Muslims (with complete submission to Allâh)).
    God Blessing you

  20. emopeacekid

    Exactly bro, people …
Exactly bro, people need to think through their arguments before they use them.

  21. Christianjr4

    I know. Jesus also …
I know. Jesus also never said he was human either or that he goes to the washroom. By that ridiculous logic Jesus was not a human being nor a person who went to the washroom.

  22. emopeacekid

    When people say …
When people say that Jesus never said “I am God” therefore he never claimed it is silly. Jesus never directly said “I am a prophet” or “I am the messiah” both things muslims affirm. In the NT Jesus of Nazareth never states, “I am Jesus of Nazareth”!!!!

  23. befairpeople

    Brothers, We …
Brothers, We Christians, Jews and Muslims all believe in one God. Lets us not argue each other. I have studied Christianity and Islam and I have chosen Islam. we can buy the bible and Quran and read both. The word “Christianity” did not exist when Jesus was there. Jesus never heard the word Christianity. he did not preach christianity. Bible has the words of God, Words of Jesus and also the Words of the writers. You will understand when you read it. decide by yourself. may God guide us all.

    Jesus is Lord!
    Jesus is Lord!

  25. theman77777777232

Or are you going to …
Or are you going to try and tell me again that I “tampered” with the satanic verse in your “holy” quran which EXPLICITLY claims that Jesus was never crucified?
