    The RCC teachings …
The RCC teachings came from babylon, not the apostles.

    Catholics do not …
Catholics do not believe Mary is an idol, nor do they worship her. Protestants tend to ignore the fact that Mary miraculously conceived Jesus by the will of God and the power of the holy spirit, she bore Him in her womb, gave birth to Him, raised Him…this alone is merit to honor her!! She is the ultimate mother!! How Protestants feel that they can ignore and reject Mary is beyond me…think about it, you can say all you want that you do not need Mary, but you cannot deny that Jesus need her.

    I wish the priest …
I wish the priest would have just whipped out Jn 20 when he said “receive the holy spirit who’s sin you forgive are forgiven who’s sins you retain are retained.” earlier and shut the moderator up

    2 catholics or 2 …

    Heresies of the …
Heresies of the Catholic church. Given that… all the apostles were heretics, what we teach came from them.

This was such an unfair debate, it was 2 against 1!

i’m a christian. i pity the catholic priest. but again, the word of God is like a double edged sword. We christians have to stamp out the heresies of the catholic faith.

    my friend, you can …
my friend, you can not say I´m chatolic, “I have done the salvation by works bit”
Yes, God is the only one who forgive sins, Jesus said so, and this same Jesus told his disciples now I send you to forgive sins in my name, It was Jesus who said that, wasn´t the church, and Jesus is the Chief, the boss, He is God, so, you accept Jesus (the chief) and his word or you reject them,, He said the Apostles have the power to forgive sins in his name and He is the boss
    Blesses

    catholicsm has so …
catholicsm has so many false ideaologies. like why do they worship and pray to Mary? the bible say that thou shall not have any other Gods before me. Mary has become an idol. it is only the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. the holy trinity which is one. the catholic church has perversed true christianity

    I’m a Catholic, but …
I’m a Catholic, but I have not gone to confession in a while now, and why? Because I’m a sinner, and I sin again, anyway!

I have done the salvation by works bit, and it spiritually tires me out. So, I read my Bible and pray to God - for he is the only one who will forgive sins.

Like I said, I am a Catholic, but I do not believe in penance anymore. It will not save us, no matter what anyone says.

    Why? So we can …
Why? So we can splinter, bicker and conflict with one another in doctrines like you have?

Your Bible was put together by Tradition. You’d be a fool to think the Word of God is only contained in written form only and is sufficent in itself by that alone.

    the pope or any …
the pope or any high clergy men probably deny any contact with people who might question there faith.
and christians take classes to evangelize because they think that the classes will help them become holier.

    haha! what the hell?
try to argue with the pope on this!
why do this protestants who call the pope and the catholic hierachy all sorts of names..
why dont they have the guts to go directly to Rome and demand a debate? why?
and why if they are sooooooo sure of their faith why do they need to aattend courses on how to evangelize people?

I am an atheist but …
I am an atheist but for me the catholic version makes sense. Christ died for the original sins, yet the sins you commit yourself apart from the original sins where do they get redemption? I believe that catholics take free will, good and bad deeds very seriously which makes them morally more sound, they have to be careful what they do, while protestants are already in the frace, and the simple act of their believf can wash away (without counteracting good deeds) any crime.

    If you read Pope …
If you read Pope Clement of Rome’s (fourth Pope) letter to the corinthians, papal primacy was practiced from the very earliest days of the church. Eusebius’ account also. St. Peter founded the community of Christians at Antioch but departed for Rome later. In fact, St. Ignatius of Antioch was given the bishopric. Also, in 1 Peter 5:13, Peter calls himself the “chosen one in Babylon”. During this time, the actual Babylon was in ruins and in the first century, Rome was referred to as “Babylon.”
