    jemdyar17 thank GOD …
jemdyar17 thank GOD FOR THE NAACP!

Tensions continued to mount and in the spring of 1965 the NAACP led a march “from the federal office building [in Salt Lake City] to the steps of the [LDS] church administration building” (The Christian Century, Sept. 29, 1965, pp. 1185-1186).

About 250 persons demonstrated in front of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints offices Sunday, asking for a statement on civil rights. . . (Deseret News, March 8, 1965, p. B11)

    In 1963 the NAACP …
In 1963 the NAACP threatened to picket the LDS Church. On October 5, 1963, the Deseret News reported:
Albert B. Fritz, NAACP branch president, said at a civil rights meeting Friday night that his organization promised not to picket the 133rd Semi-Annual General Conference of the Church on Temple Square.
He added, however, that the NAACP will picket Temple Square, next Saturday if the Church does not present an “acceptable” statement on civil rights before that day (Deseret News, Oct. 5, 1963).

    jemdyar17 thank the …
jemdyar17 thank the NAACP for Black FOLKS getting the PRIESTHOOD and Black folks being treated equal in the MORMON CHURCH!

The deeply Mormon attitude apparently discriminating against Negroes because of their race is becoming a burning issue in that church—and beyond the church . . .
The increasing heat of racial pressures in the country has brought it into focus as one of the few uncracked fortresses of discrimination (Los Angeles Times, Aug. 27, 1967).

    jemdyar17 there was …
jemdyar17 there was a movement in the BLACK community for the MORMON CHURCH to treat BLACKS equal and let the BLACK FOLKS HAVE THE PRIESTHOOD!

On April 14,1968,the Arizona Daily Star reported that there was a boycott by eight blacks at the LDS Church’s Brigham Young University:
The University of Texas-El Paso athletes stayed away from Saturday’s competition at the church-operated BYU..They said there was a belief on the campus”that the blacks are inferior and that we are disciples of the devil”

    whenever you demand …
whenever you demand evidence of God, you won’t get it. The point of not having evidence is so you can have “faith.” Faith is the evidence of things which are not seen which are true. Think about it. If I were God and I wanted my kids to learn faith, would I leave obvious evidence right in front of them? Probably not. I would want them to pray to me and ask for themselves.

  6. jemdyar17

    and actually a lot …
and actually a lot of people give us flack for not giving black people the priesthood. Well we were still among the first christian churches who did allow this, and we are also responsible for the world’s oldest women’s organization. We do not discriminate. If God says black skin is a curse, that’s just how it is, don’t kill the messenger.

  7. jemdyar17

    yes. And we also …
yes. And we also believe that when we are exalted and become as Gods, our skin will be whiter still. And everything you say makes perfect sense to me, so I don’t see how quoting it is going to make me leave my church. Black skin was a curse given to man and passed down through the generations. I don’t see anything about that that doesn’t make perfect sense.

    MORMON SCRIPTURES …
    MORMON SCRIPTURES TEACH THIS

SEED OF CAIN KEEPS CURSE ON LAND THROUGH HAM>
24…from Ham, sprang that race which preserved the curse in the land.(Abraham 1:23-24)

Mormon God turns the seed of CAIN BLACK>
“..A BLACKNESS came upon all the children of Canaan..(Moses 7:8).”

seed of CAIN are now BLACK>
“…for the seed of Cain were BLACK…(Moses 7:22).”

BLACK SEED of CAIN CAN NOT HOLD THE PRIESTHOOD>
“being of the lineage by which he could not have the right of PRIESTHOOD,(Abraham 1:26-27)”

    jerndyar Here the …
jerndyar Here the Mormon God Curses the USA Indians with Black skin for rebelling against the Mormon GOD–>

“. . . wherefore, as they were WHITE and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a SKIN of BLACKNESS to come upon them (2 Nephi 5:21).”

Here the MORMON GOD turns the USA INDIANS back WHITE Skinned because they REPENTED

“And their curse was taken from them, and their skin became WHITE like unto the Nephites” (3 Nephi 2:15).

    Joseph Smith has …
Joseph Smith has done more then JESUS CHRIST

“I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor JESUS “CHRIST” ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of JESUS “CHRIST” ran away from Him; but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet. (LDS History of the Church, Vol. 6, p. 408, 409)

    I have prayed and …
I have prayed and talked to God & what I got from HIM is” I gave you the truth when you first came to me” That was all I needed. That truth was Jesus Christ. the ONLY TRUTH. I have a mormon bible & it is false. Mormons are people who do try to follow God but instead are following a blind man. Jesus says that if you follow the blind you both will fall in the pit. I don’t want to fight I want you to come to JESUS. YOU DON’T NEED ANYTHING ELSE. Please listen it is in JESUS not Joseph. Drop him

    Where in my comment …
Where in my comment did I say you worshiped Joseph Smith? Some guy said that Joseph was my judge, & I say you are wrong & the scriptures prove it. I pray that you get out of your false religion & comfort because you can not get in heaven with the approval of Joseph or your works. It is by the grace of GOD & a relationship w/ Jesus Christ. If you have that then good if you don’t tremble w/ a repentant heart. Joseph fabricated egyptian papyrus he made up the story in the book of mormon, no evidence

Can U give me ONE …
Can U give me ONE VERSE in The bible were it predicts joseph smith?? Can u even give me one scripture from your book that DOESN’T contradict w/ the bible? do u think your prophet died as a martyr? Do u believe there are ppl on the moon? and ppl on the sun??

  14. jemdyar17

    Nobody in our …
Nobody in our church “worships” Joseph Smith. Throughout the ages, God has used prophets, great holy men, as conduits for his word and his law. Why should today be any different? We refer to Joseph as a great man, and he was. We do believe that some scriptures in both the bible and the BoM predict the coming of Joseph Smith who brought about the restoration of the gospel, but we do not worship Joseph Smith and he is not our Saviour.

  15. jemdyar17

    actually, …
actually, everything written in the book of mormon goes along very very well with the bible. They are great companions. Anyone who has read and thought/prayed about both books with sincerity knows this. There is nothing in the bible that proves mormonism incorrect.

  16. jemdyar17

    I’m a mormon. I …
I’m a mormon. I take pain killers and drink soda. I’m not about to get ex-communicated for it. I think you don’t know anything about us, which is normal. We do not practice polygamy. As for the beer… we are “advised” not to use things that cause addictions. No addictions? That’s not messed up, that’s a good thing.

  17. wolfie963

    You are so wrong. …
You are so wrong. Your statements are not ture. Please learn about what you put down.

    practiseD polygamy. …
practiseD polygamy.. :) some offshoots still do, but LDS doesn’t. It’s still a principle of sorts though, depending on who you ask. It was very prevalent and taught in the early church before it split into different bodies though. Most modern-day LDS admittedly don’t understand it either, but haven’t looked into the history of polygamy or statements by early leaders concerning it.

    I like what Walter …
I like what Walter Martin said about “good fruits”
Requires both of these credentials (and not one of the other):
    1) Live morally sound lives.
    2) Teach correct doctrine.
Teachers in Christ’s day taught good doctrine, but had lousy character/morals. Mormons are great outstanding character and morals, but teaches doctrine that perverts the Bible on elementary truths.

  21. Bringit13

    I have nothing …
I have nothing against Mormons, even though I’m Catholic. They’re just weird. No Beer? No Soda? No Pain killers? Messed up. And They Practice Polygamy! Joseph Smith must have been drinking.

Ha, they lost me at …
Ha, they lost me at “all mankind will be saved in one of the degrees of glory” - LOL. God has a ratings system! Awesome!

    Joseph Smith was a freemason.

    Mormonism is a cult …
Mormonism is a cult. They are good people, but teach false prophets

    Take the world to …
Take the world to the bible (that would be a frighting world) and look to scripture to find the answers to the world? Yeah look in a book that was written by man in the bronze age. Oh sorry. . it was written by god because other human beings said it was written by god and the men who wrote the bible (in a very mid evil time, before they knew what DNA, the atom or even germs were for that matter) says it’s written by god. No matter the religion doesn’t ANYONE question this??
